Regional Account Executive: Florida Region

We are seeking an individual who is based in the Orlando, FL area for travel purposes, energetic, motivated and enthusiastic with a minimum of 3 years relevant selling experience in skincare/beauty retail business for our Florida Region. The right candidate must be well organized, professionally mature and sophisticated enough to deal with the challenges of the retail market while simultaneously expanding sales, managing accounts and utilizing available resources in an effective manner.

Essential Duties:
Sales: 50%

  • Assessing and capitalizing on existing accounts: Working with retail accounts (i.e. ULTA Stores) and implementing in-store events and special promotions to build sales for the retail business; Exuviance and CoverBlend brands.
  • Track, monitor and analyze retail sales data for all major accounts that you are responsible for on a door by door basis.
  • Coordinating all selling efforts between the store management and your in-store promotional person to achieve optimum levels of productivity and to satisfy sales goals.

Account Management: 30%

  • Nurturing relations with Store/Prestige Managers and Beauty Advisors to provide good customer service, and to capitalize on growth opportunities; to monitor all store activities including our space and location, presentation at point-of-sale; to coordinate all in-store promotional activities with store personnel (i.e. visual departments) to insure effective and lucrative promotions.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute the Exuviance/CoverBlend Training program for implementation to Beauty Advisors and the members of the promotional support team if the trainer is unavailable.

Management of Resources: 20%

  • The ability to manage company resources. Economical use of resources as a means to maintain a return on our investment. Plan and execute in-store programs and monthly events and analyze their sales results vs. the company investment; to monitor for all in-store events and recap their results on a weekly/monthly basis.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3 years experience in skincare/beauty retail business
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Travel- includes up to 3 nights in hotel; weekends and travel a must
  • Lifting-approximately 5- 10 lbs
  • Licensed Esthetician preferred, but not required

Skin Care Product Development Associate Chemist/Chemist

This position will be responsible for assisting in the development of new and innovative skin care and color cosmetic formulations including creams, lotions, OTC sunscreens, and skin cleansers to support the NeoStrata brands, as well as reformulation of existing products as required. The primary responsibilities of this position, will be to support all R&D laboratory activities, including making lab batches of skin care formulations and documenting following Good Laboratory Practices, monitoring formula stability, tabulating and summarizing data, editing documents, ordering chemicals, washing glassware. This position requires knowledge of emulsion technology and chemistry and ideally with skin care formulation development. This position will report to the Director of R&D. Location: Princeton, NJ.

Essential Duties:

  • Quickly learn to formulate a wide ranges of skin care and color cosmetic formulations under the direction of the NeoStrata scientists
  • Conduct raw material testing as needed for formulations
  • Understand the basic principles of good experimental design, data analysis and interpretation
  • Complete projects and assignments within deadlines
  • Work with cross functional teams to deliver high quality product innovations
  • Assist in filling products into packaging for product stability testing purposes
  • Learn to master use of laboratory equipment and processes, required to make formulation batches, including but not limited to laboratory mixers, blenders, homogenizers, balances, pH meters, viscometers, microscope, centrifuge, packaging fillers, sealers.
  • Perform measurements on ingredients and formulas, including but not limited to pH, viscosity, melting point, IR, specific gravity, microscopic evaluation.
  • Tabulate data in Microsoft Excel, review and edit manufacturing procedures and other documents in Microsoft Word, under the direction of NeoStrata scientists
  • Order raw materials and lab supplies
  • Wash glassware

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS degree in chemistry or other scientific discipline
  • Experience: 0-5 years of industrial chemistry, ideally formulation development experience; knowledge of skin care product development process is desired
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, concepts and procedures is required
  • Self starter and responsible team player, able to work productively in a cross functional team, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and highly motivated to learn and grow
  • Highly computer literate; with experience with web-based databases/programs, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

Associate Organic Chemist - Basic Research Laboratory

We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to join our growing Research & Development Team as an Associate Chemist - Organic Chemistry. This position will be responsible for assisting in the chemical synthesis, purification, and characterization of new ingredients, including amino acid or peptide based chemistries, for a wide range of cosmetic and therapeutic indications. This position will also assist in routine and novel analytical separation methods for characterization purposes as well as target identification. In addition, this position will handle chemical separations at the analytical level as well as preparative level. Knowledge of organic synthetic chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biology, molecular biology, is required. Location: Princeton, NJ.

Essential Duties:

  • Perform all aspects of bench organic synthetic chemistry including use of starting materials, reagents, catalysts, solvents, following procedures provided by supervisor
  • Separation / purification techniques including but not limited to distillation, crystallization, extraction, preparative HPLC, electrophoresis
  • Operation of equipment to aid in chemical synthesis, isolation, and purification, under the direction of supervisor, including Prep-HPLC, Protein synthesizer, lyophilizer, etc
  • Use of analytical equipment to characterize chemicals, including but not limited to HPLC, IR, UV, Melting Point
  • Regular lab maintenance, including but not limited to chemical ordering, cleaning glassware, sending out samples for analysis, logging and storing results
  • Document work in Laboratory Notebook
  • Follow safe lab practices SOPs

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's of Science degree in chemistry, with a minimum of college laboratory experience in organic chemistry
  • 1-3 years of industrial chemistry, ideally organic synthetic chemistry and analytical characterization experience
  • Knowledge of the skin chemistry / biochemistry is desired
  • Knowledge of analytical methods including IR, UV, HPLC, Mass Spec, NMR
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory concepts, practices and procedures is required
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a proven track record of dependability and commitment
  • Be able to perform individually and as part of a team
  • Fully computer literate

Medical Account Executive - Long Island, Westchester and Fairfield County

We are seeking an individual who is based in the Long Island or Westchester area, who is energetic, motivated, enthusiastic, and carries a minimum of 2 years documented successful business to business selling experience in Medical Sales preferably Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Medical Device sales in the Long Island or Westchester market. The right candidate must be well organized, professionally mature and sophisticated enough to multi-task in the medical community while simultaneously expanding sales, opening new accounts, managing existing accounts and utilizing available resources in an effective and efficient manner.

Account Management and New Business Development

  • Achieve sales quotas through a mix of developing existing business, maintaining top accounts and successful acquisition of new business partners.
  • Effectively manage and develop existing and new accounts through new product launches, line extension, office sell through promotion plans, patient events, account trainings and business planning to meet account objectives and NeoStrata business initiatives.
  • Track, monitor and analyze sales data for all accounts within the territory and identify opportunities to expand offerings.

  • Plans activities within account to include profitable events, effective and motivational staff trainings, utilization of promotional programs to drive sell through and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Manages car stock within allocated budget; prioritizes resources for return on investment;
