When should the Exuviance Daily Antioxidant Peel CA10 be used versus Exuviance Performance Peel AP25? Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 should be used twice weekly to diminish the existing visible signs of aging, and Exuviance Daily Antioxidant Peel CA10 should be used on in-between days for daily exfoliation and to help prevent future signs of aging.
For Sensitive Skin: We suggest using the test peel on a small, inconspicuous part of your face OR on the sides of the nose (nasolabial folds) where stinging is most likely to occur to determine your sensitivity to this product. With all acid peels, a slight tingling or tightness is expected, but if you notice bothersome stinging we recommend using this peel every other day or less frequently, as tolerated. If your skin feels uncomfortable at any time, the peel can be rinsed off. Apply a gentle PHA or bionic cream over it such as Exuviance Ultra Restorative Creme, Exuviance Evening Restorative Cream or Exuviance Multi-Protective Day Creme.
For Non-Sensitive Skin: These pads are super-saturated, so after you apply to your face we suggest using the excess on your hands and chest to deliver a daily antioxidant boost to these age-prone areas also.
For Retinol / Retin-A Users: For best results, we recommend using Exuviance Daily Antioxidant Peel CA10 in the morning and your retinol products at night time as tolerated. If your retinol product has SPF in it for daytime use, we suggest using Exuviance Daily Antioxidant Peel CA10 at night before bed. For Retin-A users, use Exuviance Daily Antioxidant Peel CA10 2 times per week and increase to daily use as tolerated.
